Grand Lake Property Solutions was founded on over 20 years of hands-on experience in the home service industry. Founded by, Simon Shyers, a trade school graduate who later pursued college studies in home drafting. He began his career as a carpenter before moving into project management. Over the years, Simon led construction and renovation projects for homes, offices, churches, homeless shelters, community centers — even a mental health hospital he ran for 13 years.
More recently, he has shifted his focus to property management, where he continues to do what he loves most: building strong teams and sharing knowledge to uplift everyone around him.
A Company Born on the Lake
After spending time on Grand Lake with his three sons, Simon noticed a common thread among other vacation homeowners: every time they came down to relax, they were met with chores, repairs, and the frustration of chasing down contractors — instead of making memories with their families.That’s when the idea for Grand Lake Property Solutions was born.“I wanted to create a company that not only protects your home, but protects your most valuable asset: your time with loved ones.”
